The ongoing growth in membership of the Community Titles Institute Queensland Limited (CTIQ) has been due to the ability of the Institute to properly address issues of concern to all with an interest in the efficient management of properties falling with a community titles scheme. There are two complementary objectives of CTIQ, these being the advancement of body corporate management as a discrete profession and consumer advocacy. A balanced approach to policy issues is achieved due to the diverse nature of the Institute’s membership, this being:

• Resident accommodation / unit / on-site managers;
  
  
• Allied professionals including accountants, lawyers and real estate agents;
  
  
• Suppliers of trade services such as electricians, cleaners and financial services.
